Kane S. Sherman is an industrialist, entrepreneur, healthcare executive, and author whose work focuses on building organizations that endure. With more than three decades of leadership across senior housing, healthcare, real estate, and multi-site enterprise development, he is recognized for transforming complexity into disciplined execution and measurable results across people, operations, and strategy.

His career has been defined not by titles, but by outcomes — stabilizing organizations at pivotal moments, integrating acquisitions, redesigning operating systems, and increasing enterprise value while protecting mission and culture. He has led and advised organizations with portfolios exceeding $100 million, guided more than a thousand healthcare and senior-living projects nationwide, and helped shape assisted-living licensure standards through policy and legislative leadership.

He is the founder of Senior Management Group, LLC, and the developer of the leadership frameworks Star-Pointing™ and Star-Lining™, first introduced in his book Star-Pointing: Apex Leadership in the New Economy. These theories were born from real-world necessity — tools designed to help leaders quickly assess complexity, align mission with strategy, and create operating structures that produce sustainable performance.
